Tucked away in far western Germany, the Mosel Valley's steep, south-facing slopes offer the perfect conditions for Riesling. Plenty of sunshine, a cool climate and slate soils help the grapes ripen slowly, building flavour while keeping that signature bright acidity. This dry Riesling is made from older vines and fermented in stainless steel to lock in all that racy freshness. Owner Ernst Loosen suggests pairing Dr L Old Vines Riesling with ceviche - but it's just as brilliant with your favourite white fish or shellfish dishes.
